The design of this chair came out of a need to improve my sitting posture while working at a computer. Design goals for this chair were:

Automate production as much as possible by designing for manufacturing by CNC Milling.
Reduce physical labour to produce.
Simplify assembly process.
Reduce the amount of unique materials in the BOM (Bill of Materials).
Foldable to reduce product size when not in use.
Improve sitting posture of the user.
